Description
History Repeats Itself in this gorgeous Wholecloth Feedsack handmade vintage quilt. All hand-quilted-- truly wearable art! These fabrics date back to the 1930s and are feedsack fabrics. Feedsacks are vintage fabrics that were originally used to package animal feed, flour, sugar, grain and other agricultural products in the late 1800s through the mid 1900s. Made from durable woven cotton, these fabrics were an important part of American textile and agricultural history and were often repurposed into quilts and other handmade items. The maker of this quilt backed it with this gorgeous floral fabric. This fabric is visible if you cuff the sleeve or flip the jacket upside down.

This coat is a one-size-fits-most shawl collar jacket with an oversized fit that can be worn right side up or even upside down for more style options. There are 2 clear snaps at the bottom of the shawl collar to keep the lapel in place.

Sold as is & we do not accept returns at this time. Please look closely at photos. The quilts are preloved and may have imperfections. All of the quilts are washed with care prior to turning them into garments. If you do need to wash, please either spot clean, hand wash & hang dry, or dry clean due to the delicate nature of the antique textiles.
