Description
History Repeats Itself in this gorgeous Cathedral handmade vintage quilt. All hand-pieced and hand-quilted-- truly wearable art! Some of these fabrics date back to the 1930s and are feedsack fabrics. Feedsacks are vintage fabrics that were originally used to package animal feed, flour, sugar, grain and other agricultural products in the late 1800s through the mid 1900s. Made from durable woven cotton, these fabrics were an important part of American textile and agricultural history and were often repurposed into quilts and other handmade items.
